Lucknow, March 11, 2025: Today, under the Chief Minister’s Nagar Srijan Yojana, Mayor Mrs. Sushma Kharkwal inaugurated road and drainage construction work at eight different locations in Kalyan Singh Ward and Lalji Tandon Ward.
During the inauguration, former BJP district president Mr. Shri Krishna Lodhi, runner-up Mr. Mohanlal Pasi, councilor Mrs. Roshni Rawat, councilor Mrs. Asha Rawat, booth president Mr. Lalit Yadav, Ramdas Sharma, Executive Engineer Mr. Jhulluram and other dignitaries were present.
The Mayor said that the construction of roads and drains is a major step for the development of this area. This will provide better roads, improved drainage, and cleaner surroundings for the residents.
*List of Locations for Road and Drain Construction:*
1. Saitha Village: Road and drain near Santaram, Krishnapal, Siddhinath Inter College.
2. Mahipatmau: Road and drain near Istikar Ali, Primary School, and connected streets.
3. Narauna Village: RCC drain from Kakori Mor to Pulia.
4. Subhash Chandra Bose School: Road and drain in nearby internal streets.
5. Badal Kheda Main Road: Road and drain from Sahu Timber to Bhagat Singh College.
6. Dullu Kheda (Kanak Vihar): Road and drain from Salman’s house to Ramnaresh and Sonu’s house.
7. Sarosa Bharosa: Road and drain behind Aryan Hotel and near Power House.
8. New Durgapuri Colony: Drain from Ranjit Maurya/Arvind Awasthi’s house to the main road.

This road and drain construction work will solve long-standing problems of waterlogging, potholes, and poor roads. The new infrastructure will offer smooth transportation and better sanitation for the area.

The Mayor Mrs. Sushma Kharkwal said that the goal of the Nagar Nigam is to ensure that every road, street, and drainage system in the city is properly developed. The CM Nagar Srijan Yojana will continue to improve infrastructure in every ward.
