Lucknow: Following recent complaints regarding water quality in Sector-J of Jankipuram, the Jalkal Department took swift action and conducted an on-site inspection to assess the situation. Under the leadership of General Manager (GM) Mr. Kuldeep Singh, a team visited the area on Tuesday to closely examine the water supply arrangements.
During the inspection, the pipelines were thoroughly checked, and no technical fault or leakage was found. It was confirmed that clean and regular water supply is currently reaching the majority of households in the area, indicating that the water distribution system is functioning satisfactorily.
Executive Engineer (XEN) Mr. Sachin Kumar Yadav and Pump Superintendent/JE Mr. Arun Singh were also present during the inspection. The officials interacted with local residents, listened to their concerns attentively, and assured them that the water supply system is being actively monitored and that immediate action will be taken on any future complaints.
Mr. Kuldeep Singh stated, “The Jalkal Department is committed to ensuring clean and uninterrupted water supply to every citizen. Through regular inspections and vigilance, we aim to provide the best possible services to the public.”
The department also clarified that all tube wells in the area are operating efficiently.
The Jalkal Department has appealed to the residents to report any issues related to water supply directly to the department. On receiving any complaint, the department’s team will promptly reach the location and ensure timely resolution.
