Lucknow Sarojini Nagar MLA and senior BJP leader Dr. Rajeshwar Singh strongly reacted to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s remark where he attempted to provoke the people of India by citing Nepal’s example. Dr. Singh wrote on social media platform X, “The statement by Samajwadi Party National President Shri Akhilesh Yadav that ‘India’s situation could become like Nepal’ is not only misleading and absurd but also an insult to the hard work and achievements of 1.4 billion Indians.”
*Today, India stands as the world’s fourth-largest economy with a GDP of nearly $4 trillion. The nation is a global frontrunner in several domains:*
* Leading the world in digital payments (UPI).
* Reaching an export milestone of $821 billion (FY25).
* Constructing over 12,000 km of national highways (FY24).
* Achieving 234 GW renewable energy capacity.
* Registering historic space achievements like Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L1.
* Showcasing strength and technological prowess through icons like the world’s tallest Statue of Unity, the highest railway bridge (Chenab Bridge, Kashmir), and the fastest cruise missile (BrahMos).
*Achievements of India’s Youth and Start-ups:*
* India is now the world’s third-largest start-up ecosystem, where millions of young innovators and entrepreneurs are creating jobs.
* Flagship government initiatives like Start-up India, Make in India, Skill India, Digital India, and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana are empowering youth, making them self-reliant and globally competitive.
* These efforts in youth empowerment have enabled India to reach the moon, build world-class infrastructure, and emerge as a global technological power.
*A Clear Message from the MLA:* Dr. Singh emphasized, “Comparing India with Nepal—a small, remittance-dependent economy—only reflects ignorance and negative politics.” He further stated, “Akhilesh Yadav ji must abandon politics of caste, appeasement, and power-hunger, and instead focus on politics of development. Today’s Indian youth have rejected this outdated politics. They are determined to make India a confident, technologically advanced, and globally leading nation.”
