*₹25 Lakh Sanctioned from MLA Fund:*
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has sanctioned a total of ₹25 lakh from his MLA Local Area Development Fund (MLA LAD) for the beautification, redevelopment, and afforestation works around the lake. This proposal was presented before the tribunal, which appreciated the initiative and took it on record.

Additionally, the District Magistrate of Lucknow submitted an affidavit before the tribunal stating that CSR funds from Max Healthcare Group will also be utilized for development works in the area. The tribunal reviewed a drone video presented by the DM, showcasing the ongoing development works, and expressed satisfaction with the progress.

The Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Lucknow, also submitted a detailed report on the tree plantation and greenery efforts being carried out in the lake region. Importantly, the NGT clarified that the poor Dalit families residing in the area will not be displaced for now. The tribunal’s focus will now remain on the environmental rejuvenation and holistic development of this historic 36.9-hectare lake.

This decision ensures a fine balance between environmental protection and human sensitivity.
In this regard, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh stated, “Development does not mean snatching away someone’s roof. Our goal is to protect the poor while preserving nature. Chande Baba Talab will emerge as a symbol of faith, greenery, and unity for Sarojininagar – I am fully confident of that.”
