Today a seminar was organized at the Chancellor Club under the auspices of Bharat Samriddhi to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Dheeraj Upadhyay, General Secretary of Bharat Samriddhi, delivered the welcome address, while the seminar was moderated by Reena Tripathi, President of the Women’s Wing of the Sarvajan Hitay Sanrakshan Samiti

As the keynote speaker, Shailendra Dubey, Chairman of the All India Power Engineers Federation, emphasized, “The indomitable and extraordinary Swami Vivekananda always inspired youth to live with pride. This is why his birthday is celebrated as Youth Day.” He highlighted that Swami Vivekananda encouraged youth to live with dignity in every circumstance and inspired them to dedicate their lives entirely to the service of humanity, free from deceit and hypocrisy in the name of religion. Swami Vivekananda advocated for a large organization of character-driven youth to uplift all communities and religions together.

He stated, “If our country is to truly be known as Jagadguru, it is solely because of Swami Vivekananda.” Despite achieving fame from here to there, Swami Vivekananda faced severe criticism from envious individuals and narrow-minded people in his own country. He fought this battle like an undefeated warrior in any field.

Swami Vivekananda never compromised on his principles. He was the emperor of the spiritual realm. He envisioned a new India, urging, “Let the new India emerge from the cobbler’s shop, the laborer’s factory, the market, the thickets, the forests, and the mountains.” His greatest mantra was, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”

Speaking at the seminar, the chief guest, Mrs. Kusum Batra, Deputy Director of SKD Academy, remarked, “Today, the intellect and talent of India’s youth are making waves across the world. Even in America, there is a call to Indian youth to prioritize education, or they will be overshadowed by their peers.” She expressed gratitude to Swami Vivekananda for his pioneering efforts that astonished the world and restored India’s lost glory. “If Swami Ji were alive today, he would be immensely proud to see the impact of Indian youth globally.”

The seminar featured speeches from prominent figures, including Shyamji Tripathi, member of the Child Rights Protection Commission; Om Prakash, Co-Director of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh; Dr. Santosh Srivastava, Chief Medical Officer; and Jasvinder Singh Anand, MD of Chancellor Club.

Notable attendees included Satish Pandey, President of the State Employees Federation; Jitendra Singh Gurjar, General Secretary of the Electric Engineers Union; and senior leaders Mahendra Rai, Suhail Abid, and Sarju Trivedi. Avadhesh Agnihotri, General Secretary of the Ashiana Resident Organization, and Atul Tandon, Publicity Secretary, were also present.
