MLA Rajeshwar attends Red Rose School Annual Function: Felicitates toppers with laptops, announces new digital classrooms

Lucknow. On the occasion of Children’s Day, Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh attended the annual function of Red Rose Public School, Vishnulok Colony, Kanpur Road, as the Chief Guest on Friday. He admired the delightful cultural performances of the students and encouraged, motivated, and felicitated all outstanding participants. During the event, five meritorious students who secured above 95% marks in the Intermediate Board Examination were honoured with laptops, presented on behalf of the MLA.
Dr. Singh also assured the establishment of two new Smart Classrooms, reaffirming his commitment to expanding digital education.

*Focus on Education, Discipline and Dreams*
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Singh said, “Parents are the first teachers of a child, and our teachers are like candles — they burn themselves to illuminate the future of our children.” He described the cultural presentations as “a beautiful blend of discipline, patience and hard work,” adding that “the confidence on these children’s faces reflects the secure future of India.”

*Digital Education is the New Literacy*
Dr. Singh stressed that the definition of education has changed:
“Today, a truly educated person is one who is digitally skilled. Technology is evolving rapidly, and children must constantly upgrade their skills.”
Speaking about the coming technological shift, he said that Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Machines will completely transform the nature of jobs. “A 17-year-old today will, within the next decade, work with machines whose combined intelligence will surpass human intelligence. To control these machines, digital proficiency will be essential.”

*Youth and Nation-Building*
Calling technology and the environment the “two greatest challenges of the 21st century,” Dr. Singh said every generation has its own tests.
“Today, India is the world’s fourth-largest economy. The dream of today’s youth should be to elevate India to the No. 1 position.”

*He emphasised unity among young people:*
“Youth has no caste, no religion, no region. Youth itself is a powerful identity. To take India to the next level, our youth must remain united.”

*Inspiring Example of Young Entrepreneurs*
Dr. Singh shared the story of two Indian-origin youth, Adarsh Hiremath and Surya Midha, who along with a schoolmate, surpassed Mark Zuckerberg’s record by building their AI company Mercor into a $10 billion enterprise at the age of just 22. “They have provided contract employment to more than 30,000 people. Their success shows that big dreams, backed by courage, can transform the impossible into reality.”

*Sports & Digital Skills: Formula for Future Success*
Encouraging students to actively participate in sports, Dr. Singh said:
“To face global competition, our youth must stay physically fit and mentally alert. The combination of sports and digital literacy will take children to the next level.”

During the programme, Dr. Singh congratulated the school’s Founder R.C. Mishra, President Smita Mishra, Dr. Prashant Mishra, Principal Anupama Shukla, and the entire school team for organising the grand event. BJP leaders Shiv Shankar Singh Shankari, Councillor Saurabh Singh Monu, Councillor Lavkush Rawat, Pritam Singh, Pawan Singh, and other distinguished guests were also present.
