Lucknow Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh translated his visionary commitment to strengthening holistic youth development, discipline, and patriotism through sports into action by undertaking an inspiring initiative. Under this effort, all Youth Morcha presidents of the constituency, along with 500 Youth Morcha workers and office-bearers, were sent to Ekana Stadium to experience the live T20 International match being played on Wednesday between India and South Africa.
Despite uncertain weather conditions and adverse circumstances, the enthusiasm of the youth was truly remarkable. The passion, excitement, and spirit of cricket were clearly visible on every face. Even unfavorable weather failed to dampen the morale of Sarojini Nagar’s youth—their energy and zeal were truly commendable. Filled with enthusiasm, positivity, and national pride, all the youths were seen wearing identical jerseys, symbolising unity, discipline, and a powerful display of collective national spirit beyond the field as well.
In his emotional and thought-provoking message shared on the social media platform X, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh emphasized that cricket is not merely a sport for the youth, but a dream, a passion, and a powerful medium to connect with the nation. He wrote that when stadiums are filled with the Tricolour, the chant of “India… India…” becomes the heartbeat of every citizen, and every four and six turns into a symbol of the nation’s hope—moments that instil confidence, discipline, and dedication within young minds.
