Lucknow: Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, MLA from Sarojini Nagar, launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, questioning his apparent reluctance to stand by his challenge to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji to contest from Ayodhya.
Dr. Singh said, “Yogi Ji has made his stand clear: ‘You contest, we will contest too.’ When Yogi Ji has accepted the challenge, why is Akhilesh Yadav backing away? Is he afraid of defeat, or have he and the SP already surrendered before the elections?”
He added that if Akhilesh Yadav has confidence in his leadership and public support, he should announce his candidature from Ayodhya. “Do not run away, Akhilesh Ji! You issued the challenge, and Yogi Ji accepted it. Now gather the courage to enter the electoral arena. The people of Uttar Pradesh and the entire country are watching. What kind of politics is it to retreat from your own words? Stand by your challenge and face the people.”
