Lucknow. On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, MLA of Sarojininagar, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh participated in the Vijayadashami and Shastra Poojan ceremony organized at City Montessori School, Vishal Khand, Gomtinagar under the aegis of the Bhartiya Kshatriya Samaj and Lok Adhikar Manch Civil Society. Dr. Singh performed the traditional worship of arms (Shastra Poojan) with full rituals. On this occasion, Anil Singh Gehlot, National President of the Bhartiya Kshatriya Samaj, appointed Dr. Singh as the Patron of the organization.
In his address, Dr. Singh said that a true Kshatriya is one who dedicates his life to the service of the nation, religion, and society. He underlined that India today is not only facing challenges on its borders from adversaries like Pakistan and China but also confronting a dangerous ideological assault both internally and externally. This ideology, he noted, undermines India’s cultural and civilizational values and must be resisted with unity and resolve.
Dr. Singh emphasized that in the present era, knowledge, education, and technology are the sharpest weapons of the youth. He highlighted that in 2024 alone, India’s defense establishments, nuclear facilities, transport networks, and medical systems faced more than two million cyber-attacks. According to him, the future battlefield lies not just at the borders but also in the digital domain, making it essential that India’s youth are equipped with education, skills, and technological empowerment.
He also reiterated his commitment that the youth of the country should not be compelled to migrate in search of employment and stressed that opportunities must be made available at their doorstep. He mentioned that with this vision, continuous efforts in the fields of digital education, skill development, and employment generation are being undertaken in the Sarojininagar constituency.
The event was attended by several dignitaries including Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma, MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan, Angad Singh, Chhedi Singh, S.P. Singh, Arvind Kumar Singh, Pradeep Singh ‘Babbu’, Shyampal Singh, State Women’s Commission member Ekta Singh, Sanyogita Singh, Col. A.K.
