I express my deep sense of pride and satisfaction in sharing that the proposal I had submitted to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, regarding the establishment of well-structured Recruitment and Employment Centers in every district, has now taken shape as a state policy backed by budgetary provisions. I also extend my gratitude to Hon’ble Finance Minister Shri Suresh Khanna Ji for allocating financial support for this initiative.
During the Budget Session, the Hon’ble Chief Minister emphasized the “expansion of public opportunities” and announced the establishment of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Employment and Industrial Zones. This model envisions integrated centers in every district, combining skill development, employment facilitation, and industrial support under one framework.
Employment Priority in Budget 2026-27
• Target of creating approximately 1 million (10 lakh) employment opportunities
• Process initiated for over 150,000 government jobs
• Free coaching and preparation support for thousands of youth
• Significant investment in MSMEs, startups, and technology missions
₹575 Crore Allocation — A District-Level Integrated Framework
A budgetary provision of ₹575 crore has been made for the Sardar Patel Employment and Industrial Zones with the objective to:
✔ Link skill development directly with employment
✔ Integrate industry, entrepreneurship, and self-employment within a single ecosystem
✔ Provide a “one-stop solution” for youth within their own districts
✔ Strengthen local economies and reduce migration
This initiative is not merely an announcement but a concrete roadmap to make youth locally skilled, self-reliant, and employment-ready.
