Strong advocacy for homebuyers and township development; uninterrupted power supply also raised before the Chief Minister
Lucknow. Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji and raised important issues concerning thousands of homebuyers, allottees, landowners and investors associated with Ansal API’s high-tech township spread across 31 villages, including over 10,000 families of Sushant Golf City.
Dr. Singh urged the LDA to immediately file an Interlocutory Application before the NCLT in CP(IB) No. 558/ND/2024, take the project under its control, complete pending development works and ensure effective utilisation of the approximately 25% mortgaged land. He also sought development and handover of the township in accordance with the Development Agreements/MOUs and UP Hi-Tech Township Policy.
“These are my own people, and I am fully committed to protecting their homes, life savings and rights,” Dr. Singh said. He highlighted his personal advocacy before the NCLAT for homebuyers, noting that the order dated 7 January 2026 was also upheld by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on 16 April 2026.
For the 10,000+ families of Sushant Golf City, Dr. Singh also requested increasing the electricity load from 10 MVA to 23 MVA for uninterrupted power supply and waiving the ₹8.28 crore delayed surcharge.
Dr. Singh said, “The sensitivity and swift decision-making of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji towards public issues are exceptional. Taking cognisance of a problem, committing to its resolution and ensuring swift positive action is the hallmark of the ‘Yogi Model’.”
The Hon’ble Chief Minister took serious cognisance of the issues and assured early positive action. Dr. Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude for his sensitivity, promptness and just leadership.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh reiterated his commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, convenience and secure future of every member of the Sarojininagar Parivar.
