Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh today inaugurated the 44th Interactive Digital Smart Classroom at Raj Estate Public School, Para, Lucknow, under the “Freedom Through Digital Education” initiative jointly organised by the Association of 41 Clubs of India and Club 95 Lucknow.
Addressing students, teachers and parents, Dr. Singh said that the greatest nation-building project is not constructing buildings—it is building minds and character. Education must integrate values, knowledge, innovation and technology to prepare children for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.
Highlighting the importance of early childhood education, he said that scientific research shows the first eight years of a child’s life lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Children learn best when they see, experience and interact, making smart classrooms a powerful tool to transform education from rote learning to concept-based understanding while fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Calling for “Digital Capability for All” to become India’s next national mission, Dr. Singh proposed that by 2030, India should achieve 95% internet penetration, 100% broadband connectivity in schools, AI and coding education from Class 6, one digital learning device for every secondary-school student, and digital libraries in every Gram Panchayat. He said digital education is no longer a luxury but a necessity for building a Viksit Bharat, and technology should empower teachers—not replace them.
Sharing Sarojininagar’s achievements, Dr. Singh said that since launching the Digital Libraries & Smart Classrooms Initiative in July 2022, over 450 computers have been provided to establish digital laboratories in 37 schools, while 44 Interactive Digital Smart Classrooms have now been dedicated across the constituency. More than 2,000 tablets have also been distributed to meritorious students.
To bridge the digital divide, 15 RBS Digital Empowerment Centres have been established, where 1,000+ students have received digital training and 8,000+ citizens have benefited from free e-governance services. The centres offer free training in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, MS Office, Tally, Graphic Design and Video Editing, equipping young people with future-ready skills.
Dr. Singh also interacted with students and encouraged them to embrace innovation, remain curious and use technology responsibly. He reiterated that if India wants to become a developed nation by 2047, quality digital education must become as essential as classrooms, electricity and drinking water.

IRS Officer & Member, UP RERA), Shri Raj Babu Rastogi (Founder & Managing Trustee), Mrs. Akanksha Rastogi (Managing Director), Mrs. Priyanka Bhardwaj (Academic Director & Principal), 41er Shri Bhupinder Singh (National President 2025–26, Association of 41 Clubs of India), 41er Shri Manish Tandon (Chairman, Area 9), 41er Shri Rajneesh Sethi (Area Vice Chairman, Area 9), 41er Shri Vivek Jaiswal (Chairman, Club 95 Lucknow), Mrs. Neelam Kohli (Secretary, Tangent 12) and 41er Dr. Anurag Dewan (Secretary, Club 95 Lucknow), along with distinguished educators and guests.
Concluding his address, Dr. Singh said, “If we expect our children to compete with the world’s best tomorrow, we must give them the world’s best classrooms today. Smart classrooms are not a luxury—they are a necessity for building a Viksit Bharat.”
